With over 40 years of teaching experience, I'm happy to work with players via FaceTime, Teams and, of course, in person. I offer a calm, encouraging and supportive approach that is aimed at making all players feel at ease.
I enjoy working with players of all ages and abilities, commitment and enthusiasm is all I ask for. Learning an instrument is very much a two way, collaborative process.
A host of young players have progressed with me on a
musical journey all the way through school who now enjoy the clarinet and music as a big part of their life.
The correct foundation of posture, embouchure and air are crucial for future progress and enjoyment. Get the basics right and you are on the right path.
